Kevin, a seasoned industry veteran, grew up in Montgomery County, PA, surrounded by home remodeling, general construction, and real estate. At age 12, he began walking jobsites with his father, Brian, who founded the family remodeling business in 1986. This early experience instilled a deep respect for quality, detail, and customer care.
After a decade of success in real estate, Kevin joined Dexteriors in 2023, bringing a refined understanding of how high-quality improvements impact home value. His construction upbringing and real estate expertise enable him to identify and enhance a home’s potential. With a strategic approach to aesthetics and functionality, Kevin maximizes value for every project.
As Vice President and Sales Director of Dexteriors, Kevin drives sales, streamlines processes, and empowers homeowners to bring their visions to life. Matthew and Kevin Gilmore started Dexteriors after spending more than 15 years in the family construction business. Passionate about carpentry, the two brothers set out to solve a major issue for home improvement professionals: a lack of accountability and poor customer experiences. Matt Gilmore, a resident of the greater Seattle area, has over 15 years of experience in the residential construction industry. Inspired by their father, a seasoned General Contractor, Matt embraced the family business and honed his skills in construction management and craftsmanship.
Kevin, on the other hand, transitioned from years in home remodeling to real estate and business development. Over time, the Gilmore brothers grew increasingly frustrated with the industry’s inefficiencies, both as consumers and as service providers. Poor communication, disorganized scheduling, and subpar installation techniques were rampant in the local market.
Moreover, Dexteriors was created to address these shortcomings. Built on the values of community, integrity, and honesty, the business the Gilmore brothers grew up with in Abington, PA, has been reimagined to provide exceptional customer experiences.
