THE FAMILY
Dexteriors was established by Matthew and Kevin Gilmore after they learned the family construction business for over 20 years. The brothers, with their passion for carpentry, set out to solve a significant issue amongst home improvement professionals; poor customer experience. Inspired by their father, a skilled General Contractor, Matt Gilmore has gained over 15 years of experience making him a residential construction expert.
Kevin, meanwhile, spent years working in home remodeling before building a successful career in real estate and business development.
THE PURPOSE
Put simply, both as consumers and service providers, the Gilmore brothers became increasingly frustrated with the industry. Mainly, the lack of effective communication, inconsistent scheduling, and subpar installation techniques abundant amongst local service providers.
Recognizing these gaps, Dexteriors was born with the aim of addressing these issues. At the core of the business lies a strong focus on community, integrity and honesty Matt & Kevin learned growing up in Abington, PA. Additionally, Dexteriors not only possesses the necessary expertise to improve your home’s curb appeal but also implements efficient business systems and processes to enhance the overall customer experience. Most importantly, they’ll treat your home like their own!
THE DEXTERIORS TEAM
Matt brings 15+ years of construction experience to Dexteriors, starting his own home remodeling company in 2017 before co-founding Dexteriors with his brother Kevin in 2023. He’s especially passionate about decks and outdoor living spaces — drawn to woodworking from an early age — but works across the full exterior: roofing, siding, windows, doors, and gutters.
As Director of Operations, Matt oversees crew standards, material selection, and quality on every project. His goal: deliver the kind of work he’d be proud to put on his own home, every time.
Kevin has lived his whole life in Montgomery and Bucks County, learning home remodeling through the family business before building a decade-long career in real estate and business development. That background gives him a different lens than most contractors — he sees roofs, siding, and windows the way a homeowner sees them: as investments in the value, comfort, and longevity of their home.
As Director of Sales at Dexteriors, Kevin leads the customer experience from first call through final walkthrough. He uses modern technology and tight business systems to keep estimates fast, pricing transparent, and communication clear — no pressure, no guesswork, just straight answers and a quote you can actually act on.
RICK MICHAEL
PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT
Rick brings over a decade of hands-on experience in home renovations, with a deep background in carpentry and project execution. He’s the one who turns a signed contract into a finished project — managing crews, materials, schedules, and quality on every job we deliver.
In his Production & Fulfillment role, Rick is the bridge between sales and the work itself. He owns the install timeline, communicates with homeowners during construction, and inspects every detail before sign-off. When Rick says a job is done, it’s done right.
